The Pixies "Gigantic"

The Pixies - Doolittle

I recently bought tickets for the Pixies upcoming tour for the 25th anniversary of their classic second album Doolittle. This will be the second time seeing the band, the first being their triumphant return at Coachella in 2004. The band has said in the past that they are doing these reunion show for the money. Well if that is the case at least they are giving us our moneys worth.

Try This Trick And Spin It, Yeah!

That line above was sung in the Pixes song "where is my mind". Now you can do your spin tricks in a slick pair of "Death To The Pixies" skate shoes from Vans. Available in high top and slip on the shoes are sure to please any Pixies and skateboarding fan like myself.

Free Pixies EP!

Four live recording from their current tour to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Doolittle.

Pixies Box Set On The Way

The Pixies are set to release Minotaur a box set that will feature reissues of their four studio albums and the Come On Pilgrim EP. The albums will not be remastered but will feature new artwork and bonus tracks yet to be determined. The Pixies will also be playing some European dates this summer now if they will just book some stateside shows, please!

Pixies Reunion Part 2?

At Coachella 2004 I was blown away by the Pixies as were a lot of other people over the year lucky enough to catch their reunion shows. Since that tour there was talk of a new album but nothing materialized and Frank Blank and The Breeder have released new material. Now the Pixies have one live date at England's Isle Of Wight Festival. Could this turn into a full fledged tour?
