Le Mans Classic by Laurent Nivalle

When I was a kid I actually got to go to the 24 Hour Le Mans. The drivers take shift but the car is on the track for 24 hours straight. I've always been interested in the graphic elements of race cars. From the colors, racing stripes and font used for the numbers I love how graphinc design set cars apart. Now I'm not talking about those ugly NASCAR's with their gaudy ads for Bud Light, Walmart and Home Depot, no this is classic race car design. In this new book by Sven Voelker the colorful race cars are positioned next to white models showing how the design changes its appearance and allowing you to imagin how you would design it.
