Space Is The Place for Artist Ron Miller
Artist Ron Miller's head is definitely up in the clouds or to be more correct above the clouds and out into space. The one time art director for National Air & Space Museum's Albert Einstein Planetarium is now a freelance illustrator with a bunch of children's books about space to his name. Also considered an authority on Jules Verne, Miller translated and illustrated new, definitive editions of Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth as well as a major companion/atlas to Verne's works, Extraordinary Voyages.

A Ships Lonely Graveyard
There is a great piece over at the Good Magazine website about photographer Jan Smith's mission to take pictures of the worlds largest ship graveyard. It is believed that most of the ships in Mauritania's Nouadhibou Bay are there because of insurance fraud and most of the vessels origins are unknown.

Superman VS. Muhammad Ali
In the fall of 1978 DC Comics released this issue in which the man from Krypton and Muhammad Ali went toe to toe in the ring. The basic premise is that Superman and Ali have to fight to determine who is Earth's mightiest hero in order to decide who will fight an alien races greatest warrior. With Superman stripped of his powers Ali of course wins the match.
